To Survive Plague

Earlier in the week when I nabbed Miss Lexi up to do a photo shoot, I actually brought along two outfits.

I wasn't going to waste the opportunity.  The sun was shining. We were in a beautiful park. And I had a fabulous photographer (and friend) by my side to make me look glamorous.

Yes, I call that glamorous.
And it's a good thing she was willing to take pictures of two outfits.
Because although that day I was feeling like this:

Today, I'm feeling more like this:

It feels as though I've been hit by a bus. I'm achy and congested and exhausted.
I don't think it's the outfit I'm posting that's made me feel this way...
Though, the heavy mix of textiles and drab colors make it one that I'm not super excited about.
I'm pretty sure it's just some sort of 24 hour plague that I've contracted.  It seems like there are sick people all around me right now.

Grey Wool Turtleneck Sweater (similar)

But despite this minor case of Black Death, I'm stoked because while I'm lounging in my jammies today, I have pretty pictures to share!

Have you been hit by the sicknesses that seem to be EVERYWHERE right now?

I got sick last week and just started feeling better.

I hope you feel better soon and have a relaxing weekend!:D

P.S. I love the color of your tights. They are pretty much the same as my boots. :)

Aww, Molly, I'm so sorry to hear that you're sick. I hope that you're able to rest in something a bit more comfortable than that cabinet the girl in the picture is curled up in!

By the way, I adore those shorts and love that you paired them with those tights. So cute, and so cozy at the same time! (I. Want. This. Outfit.)

Sorry you're sick! :-( That sounds like what I had last month - felt like I had been hit by a bus. You know where I work - we've been swamped with sickies the last few days! Everyone seems to have a light case of the flu this year. Get well soon (and way to plan ahead!!)!

Good thing you got those photos beforehand! I'm sorry you got sick, though. I'm glad you're better already (by the time I'm typing this).
