To Start the Holiday Movie Season

Some families bake cookies during the Holiday season, some hang lights, some count down to Christmas with an Advent calendar.

We see movies.

For the next few months (and into awards season) we spend LOTS of time in the big comfy seats of our local megaplex.  Dinner consists of boat loads of popcorn and gallons of soda.
Occasionally we splurge and have candy for dessert.  I mean you've got to treat yourself, right?

Sweater: Express; Teal Shirt: Express
Grey Jeans: Target; Brown Boots: Victoria's Secret
Wooden Jewelry: ABC Trading Company (el cheapo jewelry in STL)
3D Glasses: Already Recycled at the theatre

This weekend we kicked off the Holiday season by catching Tangled in 3D.  It was adorable and definitely much lighter many of the films that come out this time of year.  I'm really looking forward to the more serious and the darker stuff {The Fighter, The King's SpeechBlack Swan, True Grit} yet to come.

What movies are you looking forward to this Holiday Season?

I'm a total movie buff, too. I saw a special premiere of Black Swan at the Austin Film Festival and OMG IT WAS SO GOOD. A definite must-see!

That pic of you in the 3D glasses is sooo cute!

I don't go to the movies very often, but I'm looking forward to seeing Tron, Harry Potter (I'll probably be the last person to see it) , and Black Swan.

I want to see HP, but beyond that I'm not really aware of everything coming out. I'm sure I'll definitely see a few flicks over the Christmas break.

You look adorable, by the way!

We saw Tangled this past weekend too--but not in 3D to appease the below 3 crowd among us. : ) I enjoyed it too, and of course the kiddos were spell bound.

Cute! That popcorn looks so yummy. I just took my nieces to see Megamind recently and we had a blast.

Molly, I'm thinking we could be friends. No, I'm sure of it, two stylish redheads! I absolutely adored Chattanooga...what a lovely place to call home. :)

Um, there is NO movie theater here on the island. I know! So we overload on movies when in Athens. :)

The King's Speech looks wonderful and I really want to see Black Swan but it looks a little scary and I'm a big baby.
