To Laze Around

Is "laze" a word?

hmmm...

Laze: [leyz] verb
1. To accomplish very little
2. To lay around in a lazy manner
3. To enjoy the day

Yesterday, laze was definitely a REAL word around our house.

The craziest thing we did was take the dog for a walk.

Grey Sweater: Express; Plaid button up: Target
Grey Skinnies: Target; Yellow Loafers: Marshalls
Adorable Dog: Spike the Maltese

Most people celebrated Halloween on Saturday in Chattanooga.  Trick or Treating even happened then.
Did that happen in YOUR neck of the woods or am I living in bizarro world?

Welcome to the South. If Halloween falls on a Sunday, you are guarenteed to celebrate it on Saturday. It's just the way it is in the Bible Belt. ;-)

I love the monochrome look with the bright yellow shoes! And your dog is adorable. As for Halloween, I think the parties were on Saturday for the tricking and treating (and there seemed to be a lot of tricking in my neck of the woods) was on Sunday.

I think trick or treating happened on Sunday for us, but we only had a few kids come by (we gave them huge handfuls of candy because I'll eat all the leftovers). I really like the grey on grey with the yellow shoes, looks like the perfect outfit to 'laze'.

We didn't have any kids come by and no one in our house is young enough for it....so I have no idea.

I just came across your blog, and you have fantastic style! I love the casual sweater look here and the choice of yellow flats is really refreshing. Your dog is adorable!

I heard about some cities doing that. What's the point of celebrating Halloween on the 31st if people are going to change it? It should just be the last saturday of the month every year if they want to play that way...

I love lazing around the house.. and I definitely use that word!

Nope. There were SIGNS up on the streets up here that said, "Halloween is on Sunday." They were kind of weird, and I have no idea who put them up, but they got the point across. We went out on Sunday night.
